Municipality of Kalithea

The Municipality of Kalithea (postal code 85105) extends on a land area of 109.750 km², on the north-eastern coast of the island of Rhodes. The village of Kalithies with a population of 5.861 is the seat of the Municipality that includes several other villages and resorts like Koskinou (pop. 3.224), Faliraki and Psinthos. Its total population is 10.251 according to the 2001 census. Major economic resources are agriculture, tourism and pottery.
