Bad weather in Rhodes

Severe weather conditions have forced the authorities to shut down ferry services between the mainland and the islands. Winds in the country’s seas have reached speeds of up to 100 kilometres per hour. Rhodes was particularly hit by strong winds that cause the canceling of almost all the flights to the island. In addition, the winds are fanning the wildfires in the Kamiros area, started in the wake of recent high temperatures of up to 25 degrees centigrade.
