Greece, the EU’s heaviest smoking nation, starting from today, July 1st, is introducing a smoking ban in hospitals, schools, vehicles and all public places. Small cafes and restaurants with premises measuring less than 70 square meters may choose either to be tobacco free or to admit only smokers but no children. Bigger establishments can have clearly identified and ventilated smoking areas.
