A wildfire broke out yesterday noon (Friday, Oct 1) on the forested area around the village of Monolithos, at the Southwest part of Rhodes. Strong winds helped the fire to spread quickly. 20 firefighters with 10 vehicles and a helicopter are trying to suppress the fire.
