Queen Sofia of Spain will be visiting the island of Rhodes on Friday, the 16th of May. Accompanied by the Greek minister of Culture the Queen will visit the Medieval Town and the Acropolis of Lindos. In the evening, she will preside at an act in the House of Spain of Rhodes. Queen Sofia was born 1938 as Princess of Greece, the eldest daughter and first child of King Paul I and Queen Frederika of Greece. In 1962 she married Don Juan Carlos, from 1975 king of Spain as King Juan Carlos I.
