Repatriate flights after Goldtrail’s collapse
An estimated total of 16,000 people left stranded abroad after the Goldtrail’s collapse are due to fly home this weekend. Viking that was initially listed to bring customers home from Rhodes, Chania, and Kos were replaced by Monarch, Thomas Cook, Thomson, Jet2 and easyJet. The number of Viking flights from Heraklion were scaled down from nine to two.
