According to the statistical data published by the Civil Aviation (ΥΠΑ), the charter arrivals at Diagoras International Airport presented in April a marked increase when compared to the arrivals of the same month in 2008 and in 2007.

Statistical information on charter arrivals in Rhodes, through all 2008, has been made available. Compared to the 2007 season, it shows an overall 1,94% decrease with 1.264.830 arrivals in total. British tourists are still at the top but arrivals are down from 279.865 to 246.127, a 12,06% decrease.
